Pittsburgh Manifold is a collective of award-winning independent journalists who work together to produce rigorous, compelling original reporting in the public interest.

We aspire to become Pittsburgh’s news and culture vanguard.

We cover Pittsburgh’s flourishing music and arts scenes.

We are based in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood, alongside the South Hilltop Men's Group.

Our first major project together is to solve the mystery of the B-25 Mitchell bomber plane that vanished in the Monongahela River on January 31, 1956.
